Honorable Kafilat Mojisola Olakojo, former Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government Area, has officially defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Western mirror reports, the announcement was made on Wednesday while meeting with the Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu alongside the federal lawmaker representing Afijio, Oyo West, Oyo East, Atiba federal constituency, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi.
Hon. Olakojo had previously served under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), as the executive chairman of the Council between 2021–2024.
She was however, not returned for a second term during the 2024 LG election held in the state.
