Oyo State Supervisors Forum Shows Solidarity, Donated N1m to Late Hon. Taiwo Sanda’s Widow

The Oyo State Supervisors Forum on Wednesday, demonstrated its commitment to supporting its members beyond their tenure in office with a generous donation of N1 million to the widow of the late Hon. Taiwo Sanda.

Heritage Echo gathered that the donation was a show of solidarity and a gesture of goodwill towards the family of the deceased.

However, Hon. Taiwo Sanda, who was a Supervisor Councilor for Culture and Tourism in Oyo West Local Government, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

His untimely demise has left a void in the community, but the gesture by his colleagues has brought some comfort to his family.

Speaking during the presentation of the cash, the Supervisory Councilors Forum chairman Hon. Alarape Kabiru Imam, saying that the donation was made as a mark of respect and appreciation for the late Hon. Taiwo Sanda’s contributions to the development of Oyo West Local Government.

The Forum’s act of kindness is a testament to the bond and camaraderie that exists among its members.

In her remarks, the widow of the late Hon. Taiwo Sanda expressed her gratitude to the Oyo Supervisory Councilors Forum for their generosity and support during this difficult time.

According to her, the donation is seen as a significant gesture that will help alleviate some of the financial burdens on the family.

Equally, this act of solidarity by the Oyo Supervisory Councilors Forum sets a commendable example of the importance of supporting one another, especially in times of need.
