Ilaji Holds Successful Secondary School Basketball Competition

Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort has hosted a successful Secondary School Basketball Competition, attracting over 300 students from various secondary schools across Oyo State.

The event, praised by Mr. Aminu Kolapo, Sports Director of God’s Blessing Comprehensive College, showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship over three days of competitive play.

Kolapo stated, “This tournament stands as one of the best in recent decades, highlighting our students’ dedication and skill.”

He acknowledged the contributions of various stakeholders, saying, “I extend my gratitude to the Technical Committee for their dedication and professionalism, and to the coaches who guided our young athletes.”

Kolapo also recognised the leadership of the State Basketball Secretary, noting, “Their vision and coordination made this event possible.”

He commended the Ilaji Sports Organizing Team, adding, “They have set a new benchmark in sports event management.”

Additionally, Kolapo specifically commended Jubri Dotun Sanusi, CEO of Ilaji Hotel, Sports and Resorts, saying, “Chief Sanusi’s unwavering support and commitment to youth and sports development have been instrumental in making this event a reality.”

The competition has raised the standard of school basketball in the state and sparked renewed enthusiasm among students and sports stakeholders, with Kolapo concluding, “.This event has ignited a fresh passion for the sport within our community.”
