The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency of Oyo State, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, on Friday, congratulated Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole on his re-election as the President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII).

A statement by his Media Group, which was made available to journalists in Ibadan, indicated that the leadership of Barr Ajewole had led an all-inclusive administration and gave priority to the views, opinions and interests of all Ibadan indigenes, which earned him the re-election.

The lawmaker, who is also the Chairman of House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, commended the affiliate clubs of the organisation for re-electing Barr. Ajewole and well as the other executive offices.

The electoral victory was confirmed after the electoral committee led by Dr. Mojeed Kolawole Lawal declared Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole as the CCII President General for a second term in office.

Agboworin urged him to continue to cater for the needs of the old, young, men, women, rich, poor and all affiliate clubs of the CCII with everything God has blessed him with.

He, however, prayed that his new tenure in office would engender unity, progress and development for the people of Ibadanland, home and abroad.
