The management of FarmKonnect Agribusiness Plc, has disclosed that its property located at Bode Wasimi, opposite Basorun High School in Ibadan, is currently under litigation in Court, with an ongoing appeal registered case file as CA/AC/15/23.
The company therefore, cautioned prospective buyers to beware and seek legal counsel before proceeding with any transaction regarding or related to the said property.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Oluwole Azeez Saheed, gave the warning on Friday in a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
It was gathered that FarmKonnect Agribusiness Plc and an Islamic commercial Bank (name withheld) has been in an unresolved legal dispute over financial issues bothering on loan servicing.
It was alleged that previous court case markings indicating the legal status of the land were covered up, and subsequent attempts to restore them resulted in harassment by security operatives.
Furthermore, FarmKonnect Agribusiness Plc expressed frustration over unprogressive effort towarfs discussions with bank (name withheld) regarding repayment negotiations.
