One Lukman Olayiwola, 38 years of age was nabbed by the Monitoring Unit of the Nigeria Police Force, Oyo Base, Durbar, Oyo, Oyo State, and was arraigned before His Worship S.T. Tolani-Balogun – the presiding Magistrate in the Chief Magistrate Court No 2, Oyo today – August 14, 2024.


The accused person was granted bail after pleading not guilty to a 2 count charge before the Magistrate, while the police prosecutor – Fola Osegbade Esq., did not oppose the grant of application. The case was adjourned to October 3, 2024, for a hearing.
The Nigerian Bar Association, Oyo Branch, who has been monitoring the case right from the time of the arrest till the arraignment day, will ensure that the prosecution was properly done and see it to a Logical Conclusion.

A strong team of the NBA Oyo Branch members led by a former Secretary of the branch O.Ashade Esq. watched the brief on behalf of the Bar during the arraignment.
