The founder of the group, Chief Benedict Akika, presided over the gathering, where he emphasized unity, discipline, and continued commitment to the foundation’s vision within the APM political structure.

A major highlight of the meeting was the collective reaffirmation of support and loyalty by general executives from all local governments. The group declared its backing for Engr. Seyi Makinde as its preferred candidate for the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027, while also endorsing Hon. Abimbola Adekambi for the Governorship of Oyo State.

The group further pledged total support for all Federal and State House of Representatives candidates under the APM umbrella, stressing the importance of political unity, structure consolidation, and coordinated grassroots engagement.

OBF leadership described the meeting as a “strategic realignment session” aimed at strengthening the foundation’s political influence ahead of the 2027 general elections, while reaffirming its loyalty to its adopted political direction.
