As Muslims in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Nigeria, and across the world celebrate the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir festival, the former federal constituency aspirant and founder of the Tosin Alabi Foundation, Hon. Tosin Alabi, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah, urging renewed commitment to sacrifice, unity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Tosin Alabi congratulated Muslims for witnessing another blessed Eid in peace and good health, describing the occasion as a divine reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
He noted that Eid-el-Kabir remains a period for spiritual reflection, generosity, and renewed dedication to building stronger, more united communities across religious and ethnic lines.
Hon. Tosin Alabi also commended the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, describing his system of governance as people-focused, inclusive, and development-driven, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, grassroots empowerment, security enhancement, and sustainable development across Oyo State.
He said the governor’s leadership style continues to strengthen public confidence in governance and has contributed significantly to relative peace and steady progress in the state.
According to him, “Eid-el-Kabir teaches sacrifice, patience, and compassion.
These values must reflect in how we treat one another and how we collectively support governance that prioritizes the welfare of the people.”
The philanthropist further expressed deep sympathy over the recent kidnapping incident in Oriire community, praying for the safe and swift return of all abducted victims.
He described the incident as painful and unfortunate, urging security agencies to intensify efforts toward securing the release of the victims and restoring peace to affected communities.
Hon. Tosin Alabi also called on Nigerians to use the Eid period to pray for Oyo State and the nation at large, especially in addressing economic and security challenges, stressing that unity and divine intervention remain essential in overcoming national difficulties.
He encouraged residents of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency and beyond to continue living in peace, support one another, and uphold values that promote harmony and development.
Reaffirming his commitment through the Tosin Alabi Foundation, the cyber security expert pledged continued support for humanitarian interventions, youth empowerment, and community development initiatives aimed at improving lives at the grassroots.
Concluding his message, he prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the sacrifices of the faithful and blesses every home with peace, prosperity, and protection.
“May Allah grant our land peace, restore all missing persons safely to their families, and continue to guide our leaders aright.
May this Eid bring lasting joy, unity, and progress to all,” he prayed.
Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large. He submitted.
