The newly appointed Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company (PMDC), Hon. Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, has expressed profound appreciation to the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, for entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the board of the state-owned mineral development company.
In a statement made available to journalists, Hon. Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi described his appointment as a great honour and a call to greater service to the people of Oyo State.
He noted that the confidence reposed in him by Governor Makinde would further inspire him to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the state, particularly in the area of mineral resource management and economic advancement.
The PMDC Board Chairman pledged to discharge his duties with utmost loyalty, commitment, diligence, and transparency in line with the developmental vision of the present administration.
According to him, he is fully prepared to work harmoniously with members of the board, management team, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the sustainable development of Oyo State’s mineral resources for the benefit of the people and the overall economic prosperity of the state.
Hon. Adeyemi further assured residents that the board under his leadership would prioritize productivity, accountability, and strategic initiatives capable of positioning the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company as a key driver of economic growth in Oyo State.
He thereafter extended heartfelt appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the opportunity to serve, while praying for continued success and wisdom for the governor in steering the affairs of the state.
