Members of the Pepper Grinder Association, Olorunda-Abaa Zone of Lagelu Local Government paid a courtesy visit to Chief Omituntun Benedict Akika JP, founder of the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), at his Omituntun residence on Wednesday, 25th March 2026, to commend his leadership and reaffirm loyalty.

Speaking on behalf of the Association, the Mrs Adekoyo said,
“Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has truly set a new standard for governance. His focus on sustainable development and empowering communities inspires us all. We are committed to supporting his vision and replicating his good governance at the grassroots.”
Mrs Vilicia Adedeji added,
“We also want to commend Chief Benedict Akika. Despite not being a political office holder, he has brought meaningful development to his community. We pledge our loyalty to him and his movement, and we promise to stand with him in promoting progress and unity.”
In response, Chief Akika, who is the Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa and Mayegun of Akoboland, said,
“I am deeply honored by this visit and your kind words. My mission has always been to serve the community and foster sustainable development. I am grateful for your pledge of support, and together, we will continue to replicate the ideals of good governance that Governor Makinde exemplifies.”
He further encouraged them to support and vote every Governor Makinde’s candidate ranging from local government chairman, councillors , state constituency, house of representatives and so on, for continuity of good governance.
