A three-day Computer-Based Testing (CBT) training programme organised by Hon. Salam Salahu O., in Oyo West Local Government, has successfully concluded, with participants gaining valuable digital examination skills and top performers receiving prizes.


The initiative, aimed at preparing students for modern examination systems, attracted participants from Oyo and surrounding communities, reinforcing the importance of digital literacy and academic excellence among young learners.
The programme featured goodwill messages from key stakeholders, including Hon. Adekola Nurudeen, Secretary to the Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, and Hon. Sanda Ladigbolu of the TASLAF Foundation, who both commended the organiser for investing in youth development.


They encouraged students to remain focused on their studies and make effective use of the opportunity. Other speakers, including Hon. Akeem Marvellous, PDP Chairman in Oyo West, alongside Hon. Azeez Emiloju and Hon. Olatunji Yussuf, also lauded the initiative and highlighted its significance in shaping a brighter future for the participants.





While delivering his address, the convener of the initiative, Hon. Salam Salahu expressed gratitude to God and Alhaja Sen. Dr. Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu for her motherly advice, unwavering support as well as encouragement. He acknowledged her for providing him the opportunity to serve the good people of Oyo West as a Supervisory Councilor.
He further applauded the dignitaries’ presence in honoring his invitation.


Also, he urged and admonished the participating students to remain diligent, focused, and committed to their studies.

The highlight of the event was the final assessment, where outstanding students were rewarded for their performance. The overall best participant received a brand-new laptop, while second and third place winners were presented with cash prizes.
Equally, the participating students hailed the convener for introducing the initiative at the right time which has further equipped them for the forthcoming Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination.

The programme has since been widely praised by community members as a commendable effort toward equipping students with essential CBT skills and fostering a culture of excellence in education across Oyo West.
