A leading hopeful of the House of Representatives for Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Tosin Alabi, has extended warm greetings to Christian faithful across the constituency as they commence the sacred season of Lent.

In a goodwill message made available to the public, Hon. Alabi described Lent as a solemn period of deep reflection, sacrifice, prayer, and renewed commitment to godly virtues.
He urged Christians in Egbeda and Ona-Ara to embrace the season as an opportunity to strengthen their faith, promote love, and foster unity within families and communities.

According to him, “Lent is not only a time of fasting and prayer but also a season that calls us to selflessness, compassion, and unwavering hope.



As we journey through these forty days, may God grant our people the grace to grow spiritually and remain steadfast in faith.”
Hon. Alabi further prayed that the season would usher in peace, progress, and divine blessings for every household in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency.

He emphasized the importance of harmony and collective responsibility in building a constituency that reflects shared values of tolerance, mutual respect, and development.
“As your hopeful representative, I remain committed to the ideals of service, unity, and people-centered leadership.
May this Lenten season bring renewed strength and abundant grace to us all,” he added.
He concluded by wishing all Christians a spiritually fulfilling and impactful Lenten season.
