The Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his emergence as the Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Adeojo described the emergence of Oba Ladoja as well-deserved, noting that his wealth of experience, wisdom and deep understanding of traditional institutions would positively impact the council and the state at large.
According to the Ido LG chairman, Oba Ladoja’s leadership is expected to restore and sustain peace, unity and harmony within the Oyo State traditional council, while strengthening collaboration between traditional rulers and government for grassroots development.
Hon. Adeojo further expressed confidence that the Olubadan’s chairmanship would promote mutual respect among monarchs and enhance the role of traditional institutions in governance, conflict resolution and community development across the state.
He wished Oba Ladoja a successful tenure, praying for wisdom and good health as he discharges his responsibilities in the interest of Oyo State and its people
