The member representing Ibadan South-East/North-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has congratulated the former Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government, Hon. Abiodun Adedoja (Ekolo), on his appointment as the Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Energy Security.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Media Group on Monday, Agboworin described Adedoja’s appointment by Governor Seyi Makinde as well-deserved, noting that it reflects the governor’s continued commitment to engaging competent and forward-thinking individuals in the task of governance.
Agboworin, a two term lawmaker and Chairman, House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, commended Governor Makinde for prioritising energy security, stressing that reliable and sustainable energy remains critical to economic growth, industrial development and improved quality of life for residents of Oyo State.
According to him, Hon. Adedoja’s wealth of experience, dedication to public service and understanding of the state’s development needs will significantly contribute to the formulation and implementation of policies aimed at strengthening energy infrastructure and ensuring energy sustainability across the state.
