The Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oyekola, has extended warm New Year felicitations to the people of Atiba Constituency, expressing optimism and goodwill as residents step into the year 2026.

In his New Year message, Hon. Oyekola congratulated constituents on witnessing the new year, describing it as a divine privilege and an opportunity for renewed hope, progress, and collective advancement.
The lawmaker prayed that 2026 would usher in peace, stability, and “spontaneous ease” in every area of the lives of the people, including their families, livelihoods, and communities.
According to him, the new year presents another chance to consolidate on past achievements while working together to overcome challenges and build a stronger, more prosperous Atiba Constituency.
Hon. Oyekola reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented representation, assuring constituents that he would continue to prioritize legislation and oversight functions that directly impact their welfare and socio-economic development.
He emphasized that effective governance thrives on unity, cooperation, and mutual understanding between leaders and the people, calling on residents to remain supportive and engaged in the democratic process.
