The Oyo State lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, has extended warm New Year felicitations to his constituents as they step into the year 2026 with renewed hope and optimism.
In a New Year message made available to journalists on Thursday, the lawmaker expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and the opportunity to witness another year, describing 2026 as a season of fresh possibilities and collective progress.
Hon. Babajide commended the people of his constituency for their resilience, patience, and unwavering support, noting that their cooperation has remained a strong pillar for effective representation and purposeful governance.
He acknowledged the challenges encountered in the outgoing year, stating that despite economic and social pressures, the people remained steadfast and committed to peace, unity, and development.
The lawmaker assured constituents that the year 2026 would usher in improved legislative engagement and people-oriented interventions aimed at addressing pressing needs at the grassroots level.
