The Oyo State Fire Service Agency under the leadership of Hon. Moroof Adebayo Akinwande has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, on the occasion of his 58th birthday described him as a visionary leader whose administration has continued to redefine governance in the state.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Thursday, Hon. Akinwande on behalf of the agency noted that Governor Makinde’s birthday, coinciding with the Christmas celebration, presents a symbolic moment that reflects hope, service, and renewed commitment to the welfare of the people of Oyo State.

He commended the governor for his people-oriented leadership style, which it said has strengthened public institutions and enhanced service delivery across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

According to the Fire Service Agency Boss, Governor Makinde’s administration has demonstrated unwavering support for emergency and safety agencies, enabling them to perform their statutory duties more efficiently and professionally.

The statement highlighted notable improvements in capacity building, state-of-the-art facilities, infrastructure development, and operational support under the current administration, which have contributed significantly to improved fire safety and emergency response across the state.

The agency further praised the governor’s emphasis on accountability, transparency, and professionalism in governance, noting that these principles have restored public confidence in government institutions.

It also acknowledged the governor’s commitment to the welfare of public servants, stating that policies implemented under his leadership have boosted morale and encouraged dedication to duty among workers in the state.
