A popular mechanic workshop on the Ogbomoso axis of Oyo State has been engulfed in an inferno.
Heritage Echo confirmed that the incident occurred at the Agboni area in Ogbomoso.
It was gathered that properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed as a result of the inferno.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Fire Service Reform/Agency, Hon. Moroof Adebayo Akinwande confirmed the incident.
Akinwande said the incident occurred during the weekend and learnt that the fire was caused by some items that were not attended to.
He noted that no life was lost in the incident.
According to him; “immediately firemen swung into action and restricted the fire from spreading to nearby residential buildings.
