Oyo State Supervisory Councillors Forum Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Hon. Saka Muraina, Donates ₦1 Million Support Fund

The Oyo State Supervisory Councillors Forum earlier today paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Hon. Alhaji Saka Muraina, who until his passing served as the Supervisory Councillor for Project Monitoring in Surulere Local Government, Iresaadu.

During the visit, the forum’s representatives conveyed heartfelt sympathies and the goodwill of the entire body to the bereaved family.

Prayers were offered for the repose of the late councillor’s soul, as well as for strength and comfort for the family at this difficult time.

As part of the support extended, the forum made a financial donation of One Million naira (₦1 million) to assist the family.

Beyond the condolence gesture, the Supervisory Councillors Forum chaired by Hon. Alarape Kabeer Imam, reaffirmed its commitment to fostering unity, empathy, and responsible leadership across all local government areas.

The forum emphasized that Hon. Abayomi’s dedication to service remains a model for public officers statewide, noting that supporting his family reflects their shared values of compassion and solidarity.

Equally, the forum also reiterated its ongoing mission to stand by members and their families during moments of need, stressing that leadership goes beyond public office it includes humanity, humility, and collective responsibility.

The forum pledged to continue strengthening its welfare programs and community engagement efforts in honour of the late Hon. Abayomi’s legacy.

In their response, the family expressed deep appreciation to the forum for the visit and the financial gesture. They also prayed for the continued unity and progress of the forum.

The delegation was led by Hon. Oyenibi Taofeeq and Hon. Damilare Ranti, who presented the cash donation on behalf of the Supervisory Councillors Forum.
