The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency I, Hon. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and transformational projects, describing Governor Makinde as the builder of a modern Oyo State.
The lawmaker said this after the commissioning of the Ibadan Central Bus Terminal at Iwo Road, a project by Governor Makinde which was commissioned by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Speaking to journalists on Wednesday shortly after the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Comforter described Governor Makinde as the builder of a modern Oyo State whose developmental strides continue to set new standards for good governance. In her statement, Hon Comforter says:
“Governor Seyi Makinde has once again proven that leadership is about vision, service, and results.
He is the builder of a modern Oyo, one driven by efficiency, accountability, and inclusiveness.”
She added that the Ibadan Central Bus Terminal is not just a physical structure but a symbol of renewed hope and progress for the people of Oyo State. She said:
“This project represents what can be achieved when a leader governs with courage and purpose. It is a legacy of transformation that will serve generations to come”
Hon. Comforter also urged residents to take pride in the new facility and ensure its proper maintenance, emphasizing that Governor Makinde’s achievements are collective victories for all citizens.
She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the Governor’s developmental agenda and his vision of building a stronger, more prosperous, and modern Oyo State in her Constituency.
