Former Oyo State Commissioner for Environment, Alhaji Majekodunmi Aborode, has applauded Governor Oluseyi Makinde for the successful and peaceful conduct of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Congress in Oyo State.
Speaking on the outcome of the congress, Aborode described the rancor-free exercise as another testament to Governor Makinde’s exemplary leadership style, noting that his ability to foster unity and transparency within the party reflects his exceptional qualities as a Statesman.
Aborode further praised the Governor’s remarkable achievements in Office, stressing that Makinde has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment, vision, and accountability in the governance of Oyo State. According to him, these attributes have earned Makinde widespread recognition as the best Governor in the history of the State.
Highlighting his unwavering support, Aborode revealed that while observing the lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia during the period of the congress, he fervently prayed for Governor Makinde’s continued success in governance and for the smooth running of PDP affairs in Oyo State. He also pledged his total loyalty and support to the Governor’s administration.
He added that Governor Makinde’s outstanding track record at the State level is a clear indication of his capacity to deliver transformative leadership at the national level. Aborode maintained that Nigeria, at this critical time, needs visionary leaders like Makinde who can steer the country towards unity, progress, and sustainable development.
“With what Governor Makinde has achieved in Oyo State, there is no doubt that he possesses the courage, wisdom, and competence required to lead Nigeria to greater heights,” Aborode affirmed.
