The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has congratulated Oloye (Alhaja) Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja, Maye Iyalode of Ibadanland, on the occasion of her 70th birthday.

Hon. Olufade described Mama Ladoja as “a shining symbol of resilience, motherly love, and cultural sophistication whose life and values continue to uplift generations across Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.”
He noted that Ayaba Ladoja has over the years proven herself to be more than a First Lady, as she remains a committed humanitarian, a strong advocate of women’s empowerment, and a custodian of Yoruba tradition and values.

“Mama is a true mother in every sense. Her wisdom and courage have been a source of strength not only to her family but to countless others who have drawn inspiration from her lifestyle of service, discipline, and compassion.



She embodies the virtues that define great leaders and nurturers of society,” Hon. Olufade said.
The Council Boss further stated that reaching 70 is not just a celebration of age but of remarkable impact.

According to him, Mama’s influence as Maye Iyalode of Ibadanland has preserved cultural identity, promoted social harmony, and encouraged community development.
“As she celebrates this milestone, my prayer is that Almighty Allah blesses her with greater grace, sound health, and unending joy.
May her new age bring with it peace, happiness, and fulfillment beyond measure,” he added.
Hon. Olufade concluded by affirming that Oloye (Alhaja) Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja remains a rare treasure to Ibadanland and an icon whose name will continue to be celebrated across generations.
