Yesterday, The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State successfully held a peaceful and well-coordinated State Congress, marking yet another milestone in the consolidation of internal democracy within the party.


Jimoh Adisa Olabisi (JAO), a grassroots mobilizer and aspirant to Oyo State House of Assembly has expressed deep appreciation for the leadership style and maturity of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde. JAO commended the Governor for providing an atmosphere of peace, inclusiveness, and fairness that made the congress a model for others across the country.
In his remarks, JAO noted that the unity and discipline exhibited by delegates and stakeholders during the congress demonstrate the party’s readiness to continue delivering purposeful governance and maintaining the trust of the people of Oyo State. He specifically congratulated the State Chairman, His Deputy and Oyo North Senatorial Chairman.

He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to all loyal PDP members across the 33 local government areas for their unwavering commitment to the ideals of the party. He charged members to remain steadfast and continue to support the Governor Seyi Makinde administration for more developmental strides in the state.



According to JAO, the peaceful conduct of the congress is not just a victory for the party but a signal of greater victories to come in the future.
In his characteristic wisdom, JAO organized a warm reception for all PDP delegates from Oorelope Local Government as a gesture of appreciation and loyalty to the party’s leadership. He expressed gratitude to all party stakeholders from Oorelope Local Government for making the PDP a peaceful and accommodating home for everyone.
