In a heartfelt tribute to mark the birthday of Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government Area, popular grassroots mobilizer and political associate, Afiz Omo Leader, has described the council boss as “more than a friend,” praising his unwavering loyalty, leadership, and personal virtues.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Wednesday, Afiz Omo Leader expressed deep admiration for Hon. Kamorudeen, highlighting the chairman’s consistent support, integrity, and commitment to the development of Lagelu and the upliftment of its people.
According to him, “Today, I celebrate not just a leader, but someone who has stood by me and many others through thick and thin,”
“You are more than a friend—you are a brother, a pillar, and a symbol of humility and service. Your leadership continues to inspire hope at the grassroots level.” Afiz said.
He went further to commend the chairman’s strides in improving the local council, noting his administration’s achievements in areas such as infrastructure, education, and youth empowerment.
According to him, Hon. Kamorudeen has not only transformed Lagelu but also redefined the role of local government in delivering dividends of democracy.
Having his link in the corridor of power, the future of Nigerian politics and that of the youths is well assured for greatness. While celebrating him, he also charged him to be more focused on prioritizing his people’s well-being and welfare as he has been doing.
