
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki East Local Government of Oyo State held a crucial meeting on 27th of August, 2025 at Iseyin, with the primary objective of harmonising and promoting peace within the party for the progress and prosperity of the local government area.

The meeting, which was chaired by Hon. (Alh) Ismail Ayansiju Lawal, SSA to the Governor of Oyo State on Establishment Matters, was attended by several notable personalities, including Alhaji Mudashir Balogun, Chairman of Saki East Local Government PDP, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi (Wale Canada) serving Honourable Member of Oyo State House of Assembly, and Hon. Badmus Tajudeen, a board member of Oyo State College of Agriculture, Igboora, among others.
During the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s leadership and expressed their commitment to working together for the betterment of Oyo State citizens. They also assured Governor Makinde that the PDP remains unshaken in Saki East Local Government.

The participants emphasised that Saki East Local Government PDP remains indissoluble and stands tall for PDP, with defection having no room whatsoever in our local government. The Executive Chairman, Hon. Adedokun Emmanuel Olalekan, was charged to intensify his efforts to make the PDP the most popular party in Saki East Local Government, prioritising the will of the masses.



The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to the PDP’s ideals, and the participants pledged to work together to achieve the party’s objectives in Saki East Local Government.
