The Ido Local Government, under the leadership of Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, in collaboration with Kiitan Health and Wellness Center, a Non-Governmental Organization, on Tuesday organized a free medical screening exercise for staff of the council.

The exercise featured a range of health-dpromoting activities, including blood pressure checks and medical assessments aimed at detecting potential health risks early. State-of-the-art machines designed to enhance blood circulation and improve body function were also deployed during the programme.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Adeojo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of local government workers, stressing that investing in their health is both a moral obligation and a strategic approach to effective governance.

“When residents and employees are healthy, they are more productive, absenteeism is reduced, and overall job satisfaction improves,” Adeojo noted.

He further assured that his administration would continue to provide a conducive working environment where staff feel valued, motivated, and supported to deliver quality service to the people.
The initiative, which was well received by the residents and council staff, underscores the dedication of Ido LG and Kiitan Health and Wellness Center to promoting a healthier and more productive workforce.
