In a significant political development, the CEO of AROSAD Properties and Consultancy Services and former executive Chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon. Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on securing a historic victory in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election, with Hon. Fola Oyekunle DoN emerged as the newly elected representative by the good people of Ibadan North.
In a statement released, personally signed and made available to newsmen, AROSAD stated that the win marks a turning point in the political landscape of the constituency, traditionally known as a battleground in Oyo State politics.
He described the victory as “well-deserved and reflective of the people’s trust in Hon. Oyekunle’s capacity, credibility, and consistent commitment to grassroots development.”
“The election result is not just a win for Hon. Fola Oyekunle or the PDP, it is a win for democracy, youth engagement, and progressive representation. We are confident that Hon. Oyekunle will bring purposeful leadership and sustained development to Ibadan North.”
He commended the electorates for voting for PDP across units and wards in Ibadan North, saying people recognize the good governance mantra of Governor Makinde, and they reciprocated the gestures with massive votes yesterday.
Also, Arowosaye applauded the resilience and political spirit of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members, for the energy exhibited during and after the campaign, as well as making sure the candidate secured a landslide victory across units and wards in Ibadan North federal constituency.
He thanked party members, stakeholders, and leaders for their unwavering support for the emergence of FolaDoN at the polls.
Arosad, however, commended the productive contribution of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, GSSRS, towards the victory of the PDP candidate at the poll, saying he’s a worthy leader and a man of his word, that Oyo State is a PDP State.
He said Governor Makinde’s leadership has played a significant role in mobilizing support for the PDP candidate.
In conclusion, Arosad however, assured that the win will boost PDP’s morale and strategies for future elections in Oyo State
