SURPRISING: Chief Benedict Akika Presented Award of Excellence by Peace Quarters Community

In a heartwarming show of appreciation and recognition, the Peace Quarters Residents and Landlords Association Community has presented a surprise Award of Excellence to Chief Benedict Akika, the Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation.

Chief Akika, who also holds several notable titles including Agba’Akin Ataiyse Oodua Agbaye, Mayegun of Akoboland, and Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa, was honoured for his selfless service, unwavering commitment, and impactful contributions to the well-being and development of the Peace Quarters community.

The presentation, led by Mr. Akinpelu, Chairman of the Association, along with other executive members, was filled with gratitude and admiration for Chief Akika’s consistent support and engagement with the community over the years.

In the words of the Association:

“We are proud of you.”

Reacting to the surprise honour, Chief Benedict Akika expressed sincere gratitude to the residents and leadership of the Peace Quarters community. He thanked them for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people and supporting initiatives that bring progress and unity.

“I am truly humbled by this gesture,” he said.

“This award strengthens my resolve to continue doing more for our people. I dedicate this to my family, every member of Omituntun Benedict Forum and entire communities for more compassion and collective growth.”
