The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in the Afijio local government, Opeyemi Ridwan, has praised the lawmaker representing the Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Prince Deji Oparinde, describing him as one of the most exceptional representatives the constituency has ever had.
The Party Chieftain made the statement during the surprise donations of Two Million naira to the party members across Ward One (01) to Ten (10) as well as leaders, Stakeholders, and chieftains in the Afijio State Constituency recently.
They lauded Hon Oparinde’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to the welfare of his constituents ever since his assumption of office on June 12, 2023.
According to the party chieftain, Hon Oparinde’s achievements and contributions to the constituency are noteworthy, citing his efforts in addressing key issues affecting the area.

15km Grading of Farm and some city roads: One of the core objectives of Hon Prince Oparinde’s efforts is to improve farm roads in Afijio and Oyo state, with a focus on connecting rural areas to city centers and facilitating the movement of farm produce.

Donations of 100 JAMB slots for Students: Another milestone achievement in the area of the educational sector is 100 JAMB slots donations to secondary school students with free coaching lessons in making the dreams of higher institutions of learning become reality for the Constituents.
This opportunity cut across the party members, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Muslims Community, the Isese Community, as well as non-indigenous people.
All hailed his initiatives, stressing that it was the first of its kind in Afijio, where students across the zone were privileged to free JAMB Form and coaching lessons for productive results.
Entrepreneurship/Vocational Skills Acquisition for Constituents: As Entrepreneurship is taking center stage of development, Hon. Oparinde’s visionary approaches to transforming the youth of his constituents into various sectors of skills acquisition and development.
Training areas include; Catering, Interior decorations, throw and pillow making, liquid soap, disinfectant and air freshener, and lots more
Invariably, the youth training takes away thuggery, stealing, and hawking in the streets with a view that the government cannot do it alone.
