The Executive Governor of Oyo State,
Engr. Seyi Makinde,
Agodi Government House,
Ibadan, Oyo State.

Dear Governor Makinde,
“I am writing to you today as a concerned citizen of Oyo State, to emphasize the need for fairness and equity in the governance of our state”.
As you are aware, the issue of rotation of the governorship seat has been a topic of discussion among the people of Oyo State.
“It is my firm belief that this rotation is not only necessary but also just”.
For too long, other zones in the state have been treated as second-class citizens, with little or no representation at the helm of affairs.
This has led to a sense of marginalization and exclusion, which can have far-reaching consequences for the stability and progress of our state.
“As a leader who has promised to uphold justice and equity, I urge you to consider the importance of rotating the governorship seat”.
This will not only be a testament to your commitment to fairness but also a demonstration of your leadership’s ability to put the interests of all citizens above personal or sectional interests.
I believe that your administration has the opportunity to make history by addressing this long-standing issue.
“I, therefore, implore you to use your good office to ensure that the governorship seat is rotated to other zones in the state, come 2027”.
This is not only a matter of justice and equity but also a necessary step towards building a more united and prosperous Oyo State.
I have no doubt that your leadership will continue to prioritize the welfare and well-being of all citizens, regardless of their zone or background.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Dauda Temitope Wahab Prof T.
