The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo Federal Constituency has extended warm felicitations to the newly appointed member of the Oyo State Pilgrim Muslim Welfare Board, Engr Abdulsalami Abdulateef.
It could be recalled that the appointment was rolled out on Monday through the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, the Party chieftain commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State for including Engr Abdulsalami Abdulateef as a member of the Pilgrim Muslim Welfare Board.
The party apex body in the Oyo zone described the Engineer’s appointment as well deserved based on his immense contribution to the party and striving for the progress of members.
“Congratulations to fierry defender of GSM and Omituntun activist, Engr. Abdullateef Abdusalam. This is in recognition of your unalloyed and unflinching support when the battle was fierce.
The party further stated, “Your hard work, dedication, expertise, passion, and selfless service are the ingredients that made this a reality, and we’re so confident that you will make a significant impact.
We, however commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr ‘Seyi Makindeour amiable Leader, for this kind appointment.
It is our prayer that the Lord Almighty will give you the enablement to give back to the masses through this new appointment.
