The Special Adviser to the Governor on Fire Service Reform and Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service Agency, Hon. Moroof Adebayo Akinwande has congratulated all Muslim faithful in Pacesetter State on the successful completion of this year’s fasting.
In a statement released and made available to Heritage Echo Correspondence, Hon. Akinwande, in his Sallah message, urged the Ummah not to relent on the supplication to the doctrine of Ramadan.

The former lawmaker representing Oyo federal Constituency expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God for witnessing the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, urging all Muslims to continue in the attitudes imbibed in the holy month and practice the virtues of showing compassion, love, and kindness for peaceful coexistence as ordered and exemplified by the Holy prophet Muhammad (SAW).

“It is a time to pray and recommit ourselves to the quest of the salvation of our Local Governments, state, patriotism to our nation, tolerance for one another irrespective of faith, tribe, party affiliation, and other sentiments for the unity of purpose and progress,s,” the Chairman added.

He, however, admonished the residents of Pacesetter State to desist from the habit of negligence to electrical appliances at their various homes while reiterating the agency’s commitment to providing top-notch fire safety services to the people of Oyo State.
