Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the executive local government chairman of Ido local government, has issued an appreciation message to the state leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State for taking it up on themselves to reconcile the aggrieved councillors and leaders of the party in Ido local government.
The leadership of Oyo PDP, led by the state party secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, successfully reconciled all the aggrieved councilors and leaders within the Ido Local Government chapter of the party, bringing lasting unity and strengthening the party’s grassroots structure.
The reconciliation meeting, which was held at the state party secretariat, Molete, Ibadan was convened in response to internal disagreements that had affected cohesion within the local government’s legislative and executive arms. The intervention underscores the party’s commitment to fostering unity, inclusiveness, and collective progress.

While appreciating Adeleke’s led reconciliation committee, Adeojo said the Oyo PDP leadership, in their effort, had cemented all cracks and seeming differences within the party in Ido local government.

Adeojo also appreciates the councillors and the aggrieved party leaders for their decision to embrace unity and progress within the party in preparation for future election victories
“We thank God that we have been able to open up to ourselves and resolve to move on as a united PDP in Ido local government, which is what we needed for the progress of our party, the People’s Democratic Party.
” As one of the party members who has been craving for peace in the party in Ido local government, I thank the state Exco and the reconciliation committee led by our amiable state secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, for their valuable move; it was a successful one. I also appreciate and thank all my party leaders and councillors in Ido local government for their submission for peace to reign; their actions have shown that they love the party”. Adeojo said.
