Technical Adviser of inform Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Gbenga Ogubote, took time to prepare his boys psychologically for Sunday’s encounter against Plateau United.

The Ibadan soccer lords, take their blistering form, which has seen them win their last six matches without conceding a goal to the matchday 22 fixture against the Peace Boys.

Addressing the players before Saturday’s training session at the New Jos Stadium, the Oracle, as the experienced gaffer is popularly known, emphasized the need for the players to be ready for a tough game but with the confidence of getting a positive result.

“We have everything going fine for us as we head into this game. But we must be aware of the fact that this is a team that is fighting to avoid the drop, so expect that they will come at us with force.

“All we need to do is to be focused and play our game with positive mindset, ” said the sweat merchant.

The second placed Oluyole Warriors will hope to continue with their good run of form with another victorious outing.

It was no victor, no vaquish when the two sides met on matchday two in Ibadan, with Uche Onwuosonanya scoring for 3SC to cancel out Plateau United’s lead, thus ending the tie 1-1.

In their last visit to the New Jos Stadium, Shooting Stars left with a point having forced Plateau United to a 0-0 draw, with Okemute Odah saving a late penalty kick to deny the homers the maximum points.
