A renowned Philanthropist, Business mogul, and Asiwaju Mongba of Oyo Empire Chief Dr. Kola Adewoyin has congratulated Prince Akeem Abimbola Owoade on his approval as the new Alaafin of Oyo by the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
Chief Adewoyin described the ascension of the New monarch, Oba Akeem Owoade, as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership qualities and dedication to the development of the Oyo Kingdom.
He said; “with his vast experience, I do not doubt that Oba Owoade’s exceptional leadership qualities, steadfastness, and experience in an Oil-rich company will bring home progressive development and foster growth in the Oyo empire.”
Dr. Adewoyin assured that the monarch appointment will usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and unity in the Oyo kingdom.
The Asiwaju of Mongba land, however, commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde FNSE, the Oyomesi-in Council, and his cabinet for approving Prince Akeem Abimbola Owoade as the new custodian of culture and traditions of the throne of Alaafin of Oyo, stressing that the waiting is over, since the demise of the late monarch.
He further urged the people of Oyo land to embrace and cooperate with the new monarch
He expressed his confidence in Prince Owoade’s ability to lead the kingdom towards greater prosperity and growth, citing his vast experience and knowledge of the kingdom’s traditions and customs.
“I wish him all the best in his new role and assure him of my support and cooperation.” Chief Dr Adewoyin stated.
