Aare’binrin Agbaye Oodua, Princess Afolashade Abeo Nurudeen, has extended her warm congratulations to the Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Beauticians and Hairdressers Association (NBHA) on the successful 2024 Hair & Body Exhibition and Fundraising for the association projects.

The exhibition, a three-day event celebrating beauty and culture, began on December 3 with the Asewa Oge (Beauty Day), followed by the Cultural Day (Asa) on December 4, and culminates with the Exhibition/Grand Finale on December 5.

In her remarks, Princess Afolashade expressed her admiration for the event’s organization and its positive impact on the beauty and fashion industry in the region.

The Aare’binrin Agbaye also commended
the unwavering support of the association’s Grand Life Patron, Chief Benedict Akika, and Life Patron, Chief Adekola Ige, for their significant contributions to the success of the exhibition.

As part of her speech, Princess Afolashade took the opportunity to laud the efforts of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his consistent commitment to the welfare of the people. She emphasized that the governor has proven himself to be a leader who prioritizes the needs of his people, describing him as “the people’s governor.”

She further urged the good people of Oyo State to continue supporting Governor Makinde, stressing that under his leadership, Oyo State has emerged as one of the best places to live in Nigeria.

“Governor Seyi Makinde has shown exemplary leadership, ensuring that the people’s welfare remains at the forefront of his administration. Oyo State, under his guidance, is not just a place of beauty, but also a beacon of progress and prosperity,” she said.

The three-day exhibition has attracted numerous local and international beauty professionals, showcasing the latest trends in hair, body care, and fashion. It also provides a platform for networking, skill development, and the promotion of Oyo State as a leading hub for beauty and culture in Nigeria.
