The Executive Chairman Of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade Under-18 football competition is set to kick off on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
The highly anticipated event will feature 16 football teams competing for the championship title.
The opening match is scheduled to take place at the University College Hospital (UCH) football field, with UNITED STAR FC facing off against ADEX FC.
The match promises to set the tone for what is expected to be an exciting and competitive tournament.
Adeagbo Sulaimon Olayode, the Chairman of the organizing committee, assures the public that the competition will be highly engaging.
“We are excited to bring this event to our community. It promises to be very interesting, and we encourage everyone to come out and support the young talents,” said Adeagbo Sulaimon.
Updates of the competition will be available on Lagelu 96.6 FM and Fresh FM 105.9 at 7 AM daily.
The Under-18 football competition is a significant initiative by Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, aiming to promote youth engagement in sports and foster a sense of community among residents.
