The former Chairman of Oyo East local government, Kosobo, Oyo, Hon. Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for approving the appointment of new teachers under the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

While speaking with the newsmen, Prince Arowosaye described the move as a significant step towards addressing the shortage of teachers in the state. Stressing that the appointment is a demonstration of Governor Makinde’s commitment to revitalizing the education sector in Oyo State.

He commended the Governor for keeping his promise to improve the quality of education in the state, as Oyo federal Constituency remains the second highest appointee into both SUBEB and TESCOM teaching service in Pacesetter State.
The new appointments, according to Arowosaye, will go a long way in addressing the shortage of teachers in public schools, thereby improving the overall learning experience for students.

“This is the second time the sons and daughters of nobody secured an appointment to the government work without knowing anybody nor having the influence of any political office holders. If the federal government copies this kind template ventured by His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE, the rate of unemployment will reduced drastically across the Nation”.
He, however, commended the chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, for his transparency and the sound legacy he’s building at the commission.
According to him, Adeniran’s commitment to education and his community has earned him widespread recognition and respect. Under his guidance, SUBEB has implemented various initiatives to enhance the quality of education, including teacher training programs, infrastructure development, and student support services.
Arowosaye further praised Governor Makinde for his efforts in reforming the education sector, and this latest move is seen as a testament to his dedication to the betterment of Oyo State’s education system.”
