The gubernatorial hopeful in Oyo State, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem, AKK 2027, has penned a heartfelt appreciation message to his supporters across the state, commending their commitments to the Aseyori Support Group, aimed to drive positive transformation.
According to the statement made available to newsmen after the inauguration of the Aseyori Support Group in Oyo North Senatorial District, held on Saturday at Ogbomoso, Dr. Adewale Kolapo expressed his heartfelt appreciation as well as gave kudos to his staunch supporters for their backing.
The statement reads in parts;
I reflect on our journey thus far, and I’m filled with gratitude for the trust you’ve placed in me to champion a worthy cause for our dear state, Oyo State. The AKK Project’s remarkable progress is a reflection to your unrelenting enthusiasm and dedication, – and I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Aseyori Support Group members for your sage advice, wisdom, loyalty, and bold commitment. Your efforts demonstrate that our people know what they want and are willing to work tirelessly to achieve it.
Your belief in my potential, ability, and capacity to drive positive change has been a constant source of inspiration. The AKK Project’s momentum is a direct result of your collective efforts, and I’m honoured to be part of this movement alongside with you all. I have no doubt that your selflessness and passion for a better Oyo State are qualities that will propel us toward greatness.
I’ve listened intently to your counsel and insights, and as you have emphasised the need for individuals of impeccable character to champion the AKK Project in every local government and our respective grassroots communities. I’m pleased to report that we’ve secured support from advocates across the state who share our vision, and together, we’re building a robust network committed to driving this meaningful cause.
Thirteen Local governments coordinators were officially commissioned and launched yesterday, 23rd November 2024 at Ogbomoso with their banners and logistics to kickstart meetings in their various local governments. AKK supporters will henceforth, be holding meetings across the wards of the thirteen local governments of Oyo North Senatorial district. The Local governments are: 1. Saki East 2. Saki West 3. Atisbo. 4. Irepo 5. Olorunsogo 6. Kajola 7. Iwajowa 8. Ogbomoso North 9. Ogbomoso South 10. Iseyin 11. Orelope 12. Ori Ire 13. Itesiwaju.
The slogan adopted by AKK support group goes; thus, AKK, ASEYORI NI TIWA!!! AKK, AJOSE AJOJE!1 AKK, A TASK THAT MUST BE DONE!
While our reach is already extending across the remaining two Senatorial districts (Oyo Central and Oyo South), they would be officially launched and commissioned soonest. This widespread support defines our shared commitment to a remarkably fulfilling Oyo state.
I’m deeply grateful to all individuals of goodwill who’ve contributed to our progress. Special thanks to Hon. Sunday Ademoroti (SOJ), Mr. Adio Afeez, Hon. Tunde DesMennu, Chief (Dr.) Adenike; Iyaloja Jabata, and our media team for their tireless efforts in securing support across the state. I also appreciate our father, Hon. Ademola Adeeyo Baba Alarojinle, for coordinating our Senatorial leaders and working diligently to ensure effectiveness across their districts.
I must inform you all that Aseyori Support Group would be staying forever even after when we secure our candidateship with any of the lucky political party and win the election in 2027. The AKK House is our Campaign Office with number of offices and initiatives for the benefit of Oyo state residents.
Upon my arrival in January, by God’s grace, I’ll formally confirm all leaders. In the meantime, our work continues unabated.
