The Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has felicitated with elder Babatunde Tijani on his birthday anniversary.
The council chairman honored elder Tijani with heartfelt tributes and accolades for his remarkable life and legacy— describing him ‘a father like no other’.
In his tribute, Chairman Kamorudeen regarded elder Tijani as an icon of leadership, service and grace.
“We celebrate our icon, a man of conviction, who not only espouses a strong social democratic conviction, but actually lives it; a man who leads by sheer force of personal example rather than mere precepts. I am talking here of someone whose life is steeped in immense personal discipline; one who harbours no guile, but radiates love at all times”, Kamorudeen said.
Further in his statement, Kamorudeen expressed his gratitude for the roles elder Tijani has continue to play in shaping his life and career— praying for God’s grace, mercy and protection over his life.
“I can’t be thankful enough for all of the roles which my father, elder Tijani has continue to play in shaping my life and career— I pray that the Almighty Allah, who has bestowed grace upon him and granted him favor, continue to bless and keep him”. Kamoru stated.
The tribute also included warm congratulations to elder Tijani’s family, his loving wife, children, and grandchildren— who have continue to support him through the years.
