The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan South East/North East federal constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, has felicitated with the former governor of Oyo state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary, today.

Ladoja recently received a ceremonial beaded crown from the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Owolabi Ige Olakulehin 1, elevating him to the position of Oba of Oju Opo.

According to a statement by his Media Group, which was made available to journalists in ibadan, Agboworin noted that Pa Ladoja is a respected politician and businessman, who has served as governor from 2003 to 2006 and briefly in 2007.

Describing his leadership and contributions to the state as worthy of commendation, Agboworin noted that Ladoja has had a remarkable career, from being a senator to becoming the Oba of Ibadanland.

The statement read, “I am happy to celebrate a respected leader and a father today on the occasion of his birthday. He is not only a leader but also a father who has paved way for others and his footsteps is worth following.

“Pa Ladoja’s life is an inspiration, with achievements spanning politics, business, and traditional leadership. His journey from being a chemical engineer to becoming a prominent politician is a remarkable story.
