Points were shared on Sunday as Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan were held to a one all draw by Plateau United FC of Jos.

As expected, the Lekan Salami Sports Complex mainbowl, was filled to the brim by the backers of the Ibadan soccer lords, who came all out to cheer their team to victory in the matchday two encounter.

The coach Gbenga Ogunbote tutored side, made up largely of new recruits, had the game under control for most part of the opening half but could not take their chances.

In 41st minutes, the visitors shot to a shocking lead against the run of play, capitalising on a mistake by the homers to grab the opener through Victor Dawa.

With three extra minutes added to the first 45 minutes, Uche Onwuasonaya equalized for the Oluyole Warriors, scoring in the last of the added minutes.

Desperately out to win their first home game of the season, Shooting Stars again, took control of the second half, piling pressure on the visitors

Plateau United were made to defend for the most part of the half, as Shooting Stars pressed for the winner but were undone by poor marksmanship, this ending the tie 1-1.

With two points secured from two matches, the Oluyole Warriors will next travel to Benin for a Matchday three fixture against long time rivals, Bendel Insurance.
