A social-political group based in Ibadan, The Reformers’ Club (TRC), has commended Rep. Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, for his outstanding performance and series of laudable projects carried out in his constituency, expressing its trust and confidence in the lawmaker.
A statement signed by the Group Coordinator, Alhaji Usman Aderibigbe, and made available to journalists in Ibadan, indicated that Agboworin has been remarkably outstanding with series of his empowerment programmes, employment opportunities and other strategic interventions.
While saying that his representation in the House of Representatives has been eventful and resounding, particularly regarding his responsiveness to constituents, Aderibigbe maintained that the lawmaker’s exceptional leadership and commitment to the welfare of his constituents remains a good point of reference.
The group noted that the lawmaker has so far displayed commendable passion for the development of his constituency, citing several projects that have positively impacted the huge number of his constituency since 2019.
It urged other politicians, especially lawmakers in the state to emulate Agboworin’s example, saying, He has set a high standard for representation.
The statement read, “We are elated as a group to identify with a committed and exceptional leader like Agboworin, who has not only proven himself to be a people-oriented public servant, but has also continued to saddle himself with the task of moving his constituency forward.
“Taking a cursory look at the recent community intervention projects he has so far embarked upon in the Ibadan South East and North East federal constituency shows he is committed to improving the welfare of his constituents.
“We know that the ongoing community projects and Initiatives can only be achieved when we have an individual like Rep. Agboworin, who truly cares for the growth and development of his people.
“Equally, the ongoing projects he has been able to facilitate such as the solar-powered streetlights, school construction, installation of boreholes in communities, have improved the lives of our people.
“We commend his efforts in empowering our women and youth through skill acquisition programmes, which serves as a testament to his vision for a prosperous future.
“To us, He has set a high standard for representation, and we urge others to follow suit.”
