While speaking with Heritage Echo correspondence, We regret to announce the passing of Chief Mrs. Aderemi Felicia Ilaka, the mother of popular politician Bisi Ilaka. She departed this life on Tuesday morning at the age of 90 years.
The deceased was the Iyalode of Oyo Empire
the Yeyelejofi of Ijesa land, the YeyeOba of Ikeji Ile, the Iyalaje of Ijebu Ijesa land and the first woman HLM of Ikeja Lagos country club.
Bisi Ilaka, a former Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, took to social media to announce the sad news, saying: “With a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my dear mother, Mrs. Aderemi Felicia Ilaka.
She was a pillar of strength and a shining example of love and kindness. I will miss her dearly.”
Friends, family, and colleagues have been pouring in condolences to the politician, offering their support and sympathy during this difficult time.
