The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Mr. Mudashiru Kamorudeen on Monday met with council staff members in an all-encompassing staff engagement cutting across the two local council development areas, and the central (main) council of the local government.
During the meeting which marked the completion of his first month in office as executive chairman, the council boss told the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE)- the main body of local government staffs, to trust in his administration’s effort for the prioritization of every worker’s welfare, as a reward for good service and productivity in the local government.
He revealed his resolve to consider the tradition of honoring staff members who exhibits productivity, diligence, and punctuality in service to the local government. Speaking further at the event, the council chairman said he looks forward to creating a food bank system to support the entire staff members with, as way of encouragement and support for their services.
The meeting had in attendance, high and low ranking officials of the local government, both political and administrative. They included, the Executive Chairman; Mr. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, His vice; Mr. Olayinka Sadiq, the three HLGAs from across Lagelu West and North, and that of the main council secretariat, Directors and members of Departments, Councilors, Ad-hoc staffs among others.
