Oyo West LG Council Chairman, Hon Prince Olukitibi, Extends Eid el Adha Wishes to Muslim Community

Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi the Executive Chairman of Oyo West local government Area, Ojongbodu, Oyo extended Heartfelt Eid el Adha wishes to the Muslim community on the occasion of the Ileya festival yesterday.

In a message issued on Monday, Prince Olukitibi expressed admiration for the strength exhibited by the Muslim community during the celebration yesterday, urging them to emulate the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim.

“On the occasion of the spiritual lessons of Eid el Adha, I extend my warmest wishes and blessings to our cherished Muslim brothers and sisters,” Prince Akeem Olukitibi wrote. “Eid el Adha is a time of reflection, arma of giving to the vulnerable, showing love, devotion, and spiritual growth, and we admire the dedication and strength displayed by our Muslim community during this celebration.”

“Let us seize this opportunity to reach out to those in need, offer support to the less fortunate, and spread joy through acts of generosity and benevolence”.

Prince Olukitibi’s message further conveyed hopes for peace, compassion, and unity. “May this Eid be filled with moments of peace, compassion, and unity, may Allah accept it as an act of Ibadan,” he wrote.

Again, On this special day, let us embrace the spirit of Eid by showing kindness and generosity to those around us, especially the haven’t and even the less fortunate. As we share in the blessings of this festive season, may our actions reflect the true essence of love, unity, and brotherhood. Olukitibi said.
