The Director-general of the last local government elections in Ifedapo federal Constituency, Hon. Ayobami Ojo has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid el Kabir festival.
According to him, Eid el Adha is a time for reflection, gratitude, and generosity. Thus, Eid al-Adha commemorates the profound faith and unwavering devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), and his willingness to sacrifice his Son in obedience to God’s command. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, sacrifice, and compassion in our lives.
On this special day, let us embrace the spirit of Eid by showing kindness and generosity to those around us, especially the haven’t and even the less fortunate. As we share in the blessings of this festive season, may our actions reflect the true essence of love, unity, and brotherhood.
He said, “I acknowledge the significant contributions of the Muslim community to the growth and development of our society. Your dedication to peace, progress, and communal harmony is deeply appreciated, commendable, and admired”.
Equally, Hon. Ayobami Ojo used the festive period to commiserate with the entire People’s Democratic Party family (PDP) in Oyo State for the loss of the Atisbo Local Government Vice Chairman, Late Hon Ajewole, who left without notice yesterday.
He further prayed for peaceful eternal rest for the deceased and God granted the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
