The governor condoled with the immediate family members of the notable politician, the PDP in Oyo Federal Constituency, Oyo State and the South-West Zone.
Makinde, who described Santos as a great party man and grassroots mobiliser, prayed to God to grant repose to his soul and protect the children and family he left behind.
“I got the news of the death of a notable leader of our party in the state, Alhaji Ademola Santos.
“Alhaji Santos’ passage at this time is shocking and sad, but we can only submit to the will of God, who reserves the absolute right to spare or take lives.
“I condole with the Santos family of Oyo, the PDP in Oyo Federal Constituency, Oyo State and the South-West.
“It is my prayer that Allah SWT grants him Aljana Firdausi, while He also protects everyone he has left behind.”
