It’s a rude shock to announce the sudden death of one of the leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo Federal Constituency and Southwest Ex-officio member, late Alhaji Abdul Yekeen Ademola Santos.
Heritage Echo News gather that late Santos died at 75years.
The deceased hailed from Olugbon’s Compound, Oke-Apo in Oyo East local government areas of Oyo State.
He died on Friday evening after a brief illness and will be buried according to Islamic rites this morning at his residence in Òyó township.
The PDP Party Chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon. Sakiru Ojo, who confirmed the death to our correspondence, in a statement said the news of the death is devastating and a great loss to Òyó township.

With deep sense to the will of Almighty Allah, we wish to announce the death of our great Leader and member, South West PDP, Alhaji Ademola Santos AbdulYekeen.
His death occured tonight by 9.30pm today, Friday, 14th June, 2024 and will be buried tomorrow, Saturday according to Islamic rites by 10am at his residence, Santos’House, Mabolaje, Oyo.
