The Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government, HON. Wahaab Waliu Adetunji, WABKEM, has met with principal officers seeking support, understanding, and a harmonious working relationship.

In a statement released and made available to Heritage Echo News Correspondence by Head, of the information unit, Mr. Bayo Ogunwale added that Hon Adetunji WABKEM charged the officers to ensure that the policies of his administration were implemented without delay.

In his words “In making decisions, you need to consider posterity and see the development of Atiba paramount and of utmost priority.

In addition, Hon. Adetunji admonished the officers to see themselves as one and pursue a common goal of moving the local government forward. He stated that he is ready to take advice that could transform Atiba and that in the first 100 days, there would be evidence of projects to be commissioned.


Hon Adetunji WABKEM also challenged the officers to guarantee jerking up of the Internally Generated Revenue by blocking all possible leakages.

Responding on behalf of the officers, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Peter Oladeji, assured the Chairman of the cooperation of all the officers saying that the crop of officers on the the ground would deliver whatever responsibilities were assigned to them.
In attendance at the meeting are the Directors and Heads of Units in the local government.
